The weekend of October 22nd is going to be great! I look forward to each of you being there. Don’t forget dinner is served Friday night at 7pm. It’s included in your payment, so make sure you are there. If for some reason you will arrive after 7pm the code to enter Pine Cove is 5109.
We will be reviewing Deuteronomy 6 and Mark 12: 28-34. Study ahead and consider a few things. Do you fear the Lord? Do you love the Lord? Do you love your neighbor? What does that look like in your life? We’re going to talk about that, and hopefully you’ll return home with some practical applications in your life.
Here are some important things to remember. Bring your own bed linens and toiletries. We will be outside a good deal, so bring comfortable clothes you can move around in. Activities range from midnight football, to disc golf, to zip lines, to fishing and more. You’ll also have plenty of opportunity to just relax, so bring a book if you like. Bring your Bible and something to write with. You’ll definitely need that.
Leave the rat race behind. Your cell phone probably won’t work at Pine Cove. That’s okay; it would just be a distraction. Take this opportunity to leave the hectic pace for a while and enjoy God’s word, God’s creation and God’s people.
